Hello, I am GRaphic cards collectioneer from Ukraine.
I have bought very similar card to this Creative card, but mine is Media-V production. I have original manual for my card. It`s written that card must be connected with standart vga board via 26 pin cable, and standart vga board must be with vga terminator.

So my question is could i use such a card as only graphic card without another vga card or it`s only used as frame grabber card?

    Thank you.

Well its frammegrabber card, so its not have its own vga core like a all in wonder radeon cards. So you must it connect like a 1st gen voodoo 1 & 2 cards with your standart vga card. You can use vga extender cable. Ofc its long and can cause lower picture quality, but its easiest way to get required cable, if you dont have already one from any voodoo card.

Thank you for answering my question, i have only one d-sub on my card, so It should be connected to standard vga card thru internal cable, like sli 3dfx cable. Later i add this card to my site and you can see whow it looks and what`s the diffrence from creative.
In your opinion, Graphic Cards collector must collect frame grabber cards or not?

Yep looks like you need internal cable. Have one similar card too. But i'm not collecting frame grabber/video decoding (mpeg1/2) cards. I never was interested in this kind of stuff so im sending them to palcal. Hes collecting them.
In mine opinion anyone can collect what he want and likes, its his hobby not mine  . Seen once even collection of old mouses - interesting stuff but very hard to find old models.
Think that decoder cards/video grabbers/video editing cards are very close to vga cards, but never seen any collection of them - it's not that interesting stuff like graphic cards.
PS: nice small collection you have - seen there even some rare new chips to me. But you should fix card named "EGA+LPT" - when it have lpt then its MDA or Hercules standart card. In your case its Hercules standart (UMC 487F chip), cause MDA cards were older and much longer with much more chips on them.
