PCI-E 1x

Peripheral Component Interconnect Express released by PCI-SIG in 2004. Width 1bit, clock 100MHz, ?V, 250MB/s

PDS

Processor Direct Slot released by Apple in 1987 (Macintosh SE). Width 16/32bit, clocks - 8/16/20/25/33/40MHz.

RDRAM

Rambus DRAM invented by Rambus in 1992. Used in 1996/97 on Cirrus Logic Laguna and Chromatic Mpact cards. Bandwidth is 600 MB/s.

SGRAM

Synchronous Graphics RAM released by JEDEC in 1995. Its single-ported SDR with support write-per-bit and block write. Used till 1999.

VL-Bus

VESA Local Bus released by VESA in 1992. Width 32bit, clock 25/33/40MHz, 5V, 133MB/s

VRAM

Video RAM is dual-ported variant of DRAM. Invented by IBM in 1980. 1st use by IBM in 1986. Often used on profi cards till 1996.

WRAM

Window RAM invented by Samsung in 1993 as faster and cheaper variant of VRAM. Dual-ported, used by Matrox Millennium cards till 1997.
