Well just look for same chips as these already soldered on your card. Other EDO memories could work too, but look for some with same ns speed - last number in second line - in this case rev g from palcal have there -30. So try edo with -30 at the end. But 2MB more memory won't help your virge card - no speed increase. Only thing you can get by this is more details in some games (wing commander prophecy support some more effects with 4Mb memory). Personnaly i never would start searching for more memory. Maybe use some from dead card, but buying it is waste of money.

I have the rev G card Diamond Multimedia Pci stealth 3d 2000 pro s3 virge/dx. My card does NOT have any of the 4 memory sockets populated. How can I find out the chip number for the 4 chips for these sockets? I'd like to buy them to get this card working well.
Please advise!
